Almost nobody walks in knowing what to do with their hands. Your photographer sets the pose, the angle and the expression, frame by frame, and tells you when it is working. The first few minutes are always stiff. By minute ten you have forgotten the camera, and that is where the photographs you keep come from.

Questions we get asked

How long is the photoshoot?

Between 15 minutes and 2 hours depending on the package. Quick Birthday is 15 minutes, Signature is 30, VIP is an hour and Ultimate runs two hours.

How many photos do I receive?

From 3 on the entry package up to 50 on Ultimate. The number in each package name is the number of edited photographs you receive.

Are the photos edited?

Yes. Every delivered image is professionally edited. Raw or unedited files are not included, though a full unedited gallery release can be added.

When will I receive my photos?

Standard editing is 5 to 7 working days after you select your pictures. Express editing delivers up to 3 images within 24 hours for R147.

Can I bring someone with me?

Birthday packages are priced for one person. Additional people are R247 each, added when you book.

Is there an age limit?

Birthday shoots are for ages 12 and up. For younger children, book our Cake Smash and Baby Birthday range, which is built around how small children actually behave.

Can I choose a theme?

Yes. A custom themed setup is R1 247 and is built to your colours and reference images. Tell us at least a week before your date.

What should I wear?

Solid colours photograph best on our backdrops. Avoid large logos and busy patterns, and bring a second outfit if your package is 30 minutes or longer - two looks give you a far more useful gallery.

Is makeup included?

Soft Glam makeup, normally R747, is included on the R3 997 package – our largest maternity session. On every other package makeup is an add-on: Soft Glam R747 or Full Glam R1 447. Either way it is done in studio before your shoot, so book it with your session and the artist is scheduled ahead of your slot.

Can I add balloons?

Yes. Number balloons are R147, a basic balloon setup is R347 and a full balloon garland or wall is R747. Send your colours when you book.

How do I book?

Choose a package, pick your studio, date and time, and pay online. You will get a confirmation immediately.

Do I need to pay the full amount upfront?

No. Every package above the R247 taster offers a 50% deposit at checkout, with the balance due later.
