STUDIO24.7 — GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS
1.1 A 50 % deposit secures your booking. The remaining balance must be paid before your session begins.
1.2 A booking is confirmed only once full payment has cleared.
1.3 Deposits are non-refundable, but may be credited toward a rescheduled session (see § 3).
1.4 Do not book private shoots with staff. Always insist on an official Studio24.7 receipt. We recommend direct EFT, card, or online payments via the Studio24.7 website. Payments made privately or to staff are entirely at the client’s own risk.
1.5 Prices and packages may change without prior notice; confirmed bookings will be honoured at the agreed rate.
1.6 Studio24.7 Assurance Policy (BackupSure) — optional file-protection plan:
• R 247 / session = 6-month secure backup + 1 free re-upload
• R 447 / session = 12-month secure backup + 1 free re-upload
BackupSure must be purchased before editing begins.
It ensures extended file retention and redundant backups at both Studio24.7 branches.
1.7 Payment of any deposit or balance signifies full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
1.8 Bookings made via vouchers or promotions are valid only within the advertised period.
2. ARRIVAL, PUNCTUALITY & SESSION TIME
2.1 Arrive 15 minutes early to prepare.
2.2 Late arrivals reduce session time; sessions end at the original slot.
2.3 Extensions: R 247 per 15 minutes, subject to availability.
2.4 Arriving after your session end time counts as a no-show → re-booking & full payment required.
2.5 If your child has an “off day” or struggles to cooperate, please book an extra 15 minutes or upgrade your package to maintain Studio24.7’s professional standard.
2.6 Pose Preparation — search for pose ideas (e.g., Pinterest, Instagram) and send them to us or bring them along. It helps you relax and ensures a memorable, creative experience. Unlimited poses are offered within your booked time.
3. RESCHEDULING, CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS
3.1 Rescheduling allowed up to 15 days before your session, subject to availability.
3.2 Changes within 15 days → possible admin fee or loss of deposit.
3.3 No rescheduling or cancellations on the day of the shoot.
3.4 Failure to attend = no-show; all payments forfeited.
3.5 Studio24.7 may reschedule for illness, load-shedding, or unforeseen technical issues.
4. IMAGE SELECTION, EDITING & DELIVERY
4.1 Water-marked preview images sent within 24 hours for selection.
4.2 Only the number of photos included in your package will be edited.
4.3 Additional edits: R 47 / image (standard) or per chosen editing style.
4.4 Final edited images are delivered via secure cloud link, valid for 1 month from delivery.

4.5 Express Editing (“Urgent Editing”) — must be booked and paid in advance. Express editing guarantees, on a provisional basis, that your selected photos will be delivered within 24 hours after selection. Fee: + R 97 per 3 photos.
4.6 Studio24.7 may withhold or watermark any unpaid images.
4.7 Final photo selections must be made within 7 days of preview delivery; late selections incur R 247 fee.
4.8 After the 1-month period, files may be archived or deleted; re-upload fee R 247 applies for retrieval.
4.9 BackupSure plans extend storage to 6 or 12 months and include one free re-upload.
4.10 BackupSure Explanation — Studio24.7’s data-assurance service provides off-site redundant backups (Cresta & Riverside servers) and extended storage for either 6 or 12 months. This plan protects clients against expired links, accidental deletion, or device loss.
5. STUDIO RULES, PROPS, BACKDROPS & CLEANING
5.1 No food, drinks or alcohol permitted unless pre-approved.
Studio24.7 also rents its premises as a venue and charges a food-use fee and, where applicable, a cork fee for outside food or beverages. Amounts vary by event and time.
5.2 Children must be supervised at all times. Staff may not hold or dress minors or newborns.
5.3 Parents or guardians must accompany all minors under 18.
5.4 Clients and guests must not touch, move or operate any studio equipment.
5.5 Studio equipment is not props or toys. Do not lean on lights, stands, backdrops or cameras.
5.6 Infinity Curves (Important): These are the smooth, curved wall-to-floor surfaces that create a seamless background. They are fragile and costly to repair. Do not step, sit or place objects on them. Damage fee = minimum R 1 500, higher if repairs cost more.
5.7 Cleaning Fees:
Beach sand cleaning – R 47 mandatory when Beach Box is used.
Basic floor/studio (clean, dry items) – R 47.
Wet floor cleaning – R 97.
Sticky floor (cake/food/paint) – R 127.
Deep clean (glitter, oil, special effects) – R 247.
5.8 Props are not automatically included. Bring your own or request a quote for special items.
5.9 Branch Differences:
• Riverside (Fourways) – Barbie Box, Beach Box, Vogue Box, Mylar Box, Nature Box, Emoji Box, Telephone Booth, Green Screen, Private Jet Box, Milkshake Bar Box, Karaoke Box & 360 Photo Booth.
• Cresta (Randburg) – Standard photo areas and backdrops (black & white). Some sets not available.
5.10 Standard Backdrops: Black Backdrop and White Backdrop are included in all packages at both branches.
5.11 Full E-Commerce Product List: Studio24.7 maintains a detailed catalogue of props, dresses, digital backdrops, costumes, boxes, and add-ons. Only items explicitly marked “Free” are free. All others carry fees as shown in the online price list.
5.12 Mobile-Phone Policy: Mobile use is not permitted during shoot sessions. Studio24.7 is a professional content studio that charges for both studio and content use. If you book a session for any box or area, you may create your own content within that booking. However, if you bring an additional person (amateur or professional creator) to capture their own content, they must book and pay for a separate Content Session Fee at Studio24.7’s prevailing rate.
6. HEALTH, SAFETY & LIABILITY
6.1 All sessions conducted at client’s own risk.
6.2 Studio24.7 accepts no liability for injury, illness, loss or damage to property.
6.3 Do not attempt poses that cause pain or discomfort.
6.4 Ensure you are medically fit before your session.
6.5 Studio24.7 staff will never request unsafe poses.
6.6 Temporary staff, interns or freelancers may assist under supervision.
6.7 When the studio is rented to freelancers or third parties, the client indemnifies Studio24.7 against all claims arising from those activities.
6.8 Clients are responsible for their own safety and that of their guests.
7. COPYRIGHT & IMAGE USE
7.1 All photographs and videos remain the intellectual property of Studio24.7.
7.2 Studio24.7 may use selected images for its own promotional and business purposes unless you opt out in writing before the shoot.
7.3 Clients receive a personal, non-exclusive licence to use their edited images as per package.
7.4 Images may not be sold or resold without written permission.
7.5 Raw files remain the exclusive property of Studio24.7.
8. MODEL RELEASE & PRIVACY
8.1 By participating, clients grant Studio24.7 permission to use their likeness (and that of any minors or guests) for marketing unless they opt out in writing.
8.2 Clients with religious or other objections must notify Studio24.7 in writing before the shoot.
8.3 Studio24.7 complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
8.4 Optional Stock Library Participation: Clients may sign a model-release form authorising Studio24.7 to submit their images to a stock library. Studio24.7 will pay a once-off R 247 fee per submitted session (whether accepted or not). Participants may also qualify for future free promotional shoots at Studio24.7’s discretion (no guarantee).
9. DAMAGES, CLEANING & PROPERTY RESPONSIBILITY
9.1 Clients are responsible for any damage to Studio24.7 property, sets, walls or equipment.
9.2 Infinity-curve damage minimum fee R 1 500, subject to full quotation.
9.3 No edited photos released until damages are paid.
9.4 Cleaning fees apply as per § 5.7.
9.5 Clients are responsible for their guests, children and assistants.
10. DELIVERY, STORAGE & ARCHIVING
10.1 Final images delivered via cloud link (valid 1 month).
10.2 Files may be archived after 1 month unless BackupSure applies.
10.3 Re-upload after expiry = R 247 (one free for BackupSure).
10.4 Clients must download and safely store their files.
11. FORCE MAJEURE
11.1 Studio24.7 is not liable for delays or loss caused by fire, flood, power failure, strike or events beyond control.
11.2 Liability limited to refund of payments for unrendered services.
12. GOVERNING LAW & ACCEPTANCE
12.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
12.2 By paying a deposit, confirming a booking or attending a shoot, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms in full.
