Between 28 and 34 weeks suits most people. The bump is clearly defined and you are still comfortable moving around for a session. If you are expecting twins, come closer to 26 weeks.

No. Dress hire is free with every maternity shoot and the range lives in the studio, so you choose when you arrive. How many gowns you can go through depends on the package, from one on the shortest session up to unlimited on the two hour ones. You are welcome to bring something of your own as well.

Premium gowns are free on three packages: one on the 20 photo package, three on the 40, and all of them on the 50. You pick yours during booking and nothing is added to your total. On the other packages premium gowns are available from R247, including the blush tiered tulle gown with a full train at R547.

Your partner is included from the one-hour packages upwards – that is the 25, 30, 40 and 50 photo packages. On the shorter sessions the shoot is built around mom to be on her own. Additional people are R247 each on any package, added when you book.

From 15 minutes on the Mini up to 2 hours on the Ultimate. Half an hour is the shortest session with room for a second gown.

From 3 on the entry package up to 50 on the Ultimate. The number in each package is the number of edited photographs delivered.

Yes. Every delivered image is professionally retouched. Raw files are not included, though a full unedited gallery release can be added.

Standard editing is 5 to 7 working days after you select your pictures. Express editing delivers up to 3 images within 24 hours for R147.

The larger packages already include some: one on the 25 photo package, two on the 30, and three on both the 40 and the 50 (T&Cs apply). Beyond those, and on the smaller packages, backdrops are R247 each. You are photographed on our studio backdrop and the scene is added in editing, so the shoot itself stays simple.

Soft Glam makeup, normally R747, is included on the R3 997 package – our largest maternity session. On every other package makeup is an add-on: Soft Glam R747 or Full Glam R1 447. Either way it is done in studio before your shoot, so book it with your session and the artist is scheduled ahead of your slot.
