A blush pink gown with a fitted bodice and a full tiered tulle skirt that spills into a train. It is the most dramatic dress in our hire collection and the one to book when you want the photograph to look like a magazine cover rather than a studio portrait.

The tulle is what does the work. Spread across the floor it fills the frame, and against a dark backdrop it separates cleanly and catches the light at every layer. Ruffled cuffs finish the sleeves, so the arms photograph well even in close frames.

The bodice is stretch, so it accommodates a range of weeks, and it photographs best from around 28 weeks when the bump is defined against the fitted panel. Bare feet or heels both work – the skirt covers them either way.
