Gothica Red is our darkest backdrop: black architecture, red light, deep contrast. It was added for clients who find the classical and floral settings too soft, and it has become the one booked for birthday and editorial portraits as often as for maternity.

It rewards strong styling. Black, deep red or metallic outfits sit inside it properly; pastels fight it. Strong makeup reads well because the lighting is high contrast – this is the backdrop to pair with our Full Glam service rather than a natural look.
