Description

A deep red classical room – panelled walls, heavy drapes, gilt and shadow. It is the most dramatic setting in our maternity collection and the one that turns a studio portrait into something closer to a painting.

Red is unforgiving of a busy outfit, so it works best with a plain gown in white, black, gold or red itself. Bare shoulders photograph well against the dark panelling. If you are unsure, ask your photographer to shoot a test frame before you commit – you will see immediately whether your dress carries it.
